Nmpolitics.net has made a great point with this commentary piece published today. You can read it in full at nmpolitics.net. The purpose of it is why New Mexico needs to no longer be the last remaining state that does not pay out state legislators. Because we don’t pay them we always tend to end up with older/semi retired businessmen who only represent one part of the population because younger more average citizens can not afford to work for free.
