Really is Donald Trump actually running for president? Donald Trump has announced he is ending “The Apprentice” as he can not appear on that and run for president. Trump is a novelty candidate but he could get the Republican nomination. People like celebrities and no doubt about it he is one. I don’t see him actually winning the general election if he can even get his parties nomination.
The Democratic National Committee issue a brief statement.
“Today, Donald Trump became the second major Republican candidate to announce for president in two days,” DNC national press secretary Holly Shulman said in a statement. “He adds some much-needed seriousness that has previously been lacking from the GOP field, and we look forward to hearing more about his ideas for the nation.”
Isn’t that a nice little sweet attack. Trump also did not obtain permission to use the song played when he made his announcement today. “Rockin’ in the Free World” was played without authorization of its author and owner Neil Young who has issued a statement forbidding Trump to use any of his songs for his campaign.
I can’t take Trump seriously and in the back of my mind I think he is up to something. He would be one of the worst Presidents in history if he managed to get elected. That is something that can not and will not happen.
