Gardendale Elementary School in Gardendale, Alabama is now stamping kids body parts with messages. That is right. You read this correctly they are stamping kids with ink so that parents will get a message. One stamp that a 3rd grade received was “I Need Lunch Money.” This was stamped on his arm for everyone to see. Just like a scarlet letter.
Want to hear the best thing? This happened on the last day of school and it was a mistake. He had enough money for that days lunch which means he was embarrassed in front of all of his classmates for nothing.
Schools are running wild in the United States and it is time we start taking back control from the administrators and government. A simple email, text message, or phone call would have been much better that placing a poor stamp on his arm.
