Walmart has a leak. Someone leaked a training video which is nothing more than anti-union propaganda. To make it better it is being reported that on a new hires first day not only do they watch it when they first start but also at the end of the day. They want to make sure this really sinks in.
Walmart is not new to being anti union but some of the lines in this video are just hilarious.
Our company prefers to have open and direct communication with our associates—we don’t think a labor union is necessary here. And because our associates have said time after time that they don’t want a union, we usually don’t spend a lot of time talking about them.
If they don’t spend a lot of time talking about them why do new hires have to watch this nine minute video twice?
